FIWARE Driven Energy Communities for the Future
Prosumers and energy communities are actors in modern energy systems who have detailed information about their consumption and generation. ECom4Future utilizes this information for a more efficient planning and operation of energy systems. Using a human-centered, multidisciplinary approach, we will explore technical, psychological and legal frameworks that influence public support and willingness to participate more actively in future energy systems.
The project will also use market-based optimization algorithms to develop tailored solutions for the design, structuring and operation of complex prosumer systems and energy communities and use machine learning for fault detection and diagnosis to improve the availability and safety of technical systems at the prosumer level. With the observational participation of three energy communities, we strive for a continuous exchange of research findings and practical experience.
